By car
The junction to look out for on the autobahn (motorway/highway) is the "Heidelberger Kreuz" (Heidelberg Junction). Here follow the sign to Heidelberg. This will take you directly into the town on the A656 branch of the autobahn. At the end of the autobahn take the first turning left and follow the road round to the right. You are now on the B 37, which takes you along the river passing by downtown Heidelberg on your right. Continue on this road for a few minutes (approx. 5 kilometers). After passing the Old Bridge across the river on your left, carry on until you arrive shortly afterwards at a traffic junction with a small train station ("Karlstorbahnhof") on your right. You are now outside the central part of the city. Continue along the main road for a few hundred yards until you see a sign to "Carl Bosch Museum". Take the turn-off indicated. This small road takes you up a slope. At the top, turn right across the railway lines and then left. Here the road quickly becomes steep and narrow and there are a number of hairpin bends to negotiate. Carry on up the hill (the streets you will pass through are called "Am Rosenbusch" and "Hausackerweg"). At the top of the climb, the "Hausackerweg"  joins the "Schloss-Wolfsbrunnenweg" (with the Hotel Atlantic on your left). Turn left, following the sign to "Carl Bosch Museum". You are now in the "Schloss-Wolfsbrunnenweg." After 250 meters you will see the parking garage "Unter der Boschwiese" to your right. You may park there and walk by foot in the direction "Studio Villa Bosch", "HITS", and "EML" for about 200 meters. When you reach the entrance Schloss-Wolfsbrunnenweg 35, choose the way to Villa Reiner.
By train

Get off at Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main station) if it is on your route, otherwise alight at Mannheim Hauptbahnhof and take a local train (frequent) to Heidelberg. At Heidelberg main station take a taxi to the Villa Reiner, Schloss-Wolfsbrunnenweg 35.

By plane
Your destination is Frankfurt/Main international airport. From there take the Lufthansa Bus (leaving from terminal 1, section B) to Heidelberg or Mannheim/Heidelberg (depending on the time of the day). In approximately one hour you will arrive at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Heidelberg. From there take a taxi to the Villa Reiner (a ride of about 15 minutes).
